A gem of Moravian Renaissance architecture. Its original interiors are preserved in very good condition. Many of them are representative examples of the intervention of Italian art in our land. In the second half of the 14th century, a Gothic castle was built in Telč. One-hundred years later it was expanded and then renovated in 1550. Due to the Renaissance chateau extension, a grand residence was established for the leading Moravian nobility Zachariáš of Hradce.
